arg, broke cologne bottle

dangit, I just came back from shopping and I bought some of this Romance Cologne and when I opened the package, I set the bottle on my desk. I turned around and knocked it over and it broke on the floor. NOOOOO!!!! dangit. Its not the cost im worried about, its the smell. Damn, this stuff is strong!! I tried pouring rubbing alcohol on the carpet to get the smell out but I can still smell the fragrance. argg, im getting a headache

I once got in a colonge fight after a wrestling meet. One of the guys on the team smelled like ass, so another guy threw a bottle of open cologne at him and that's when there was colonge and spray deodorant going all over the locker room. That stuff takes a while to die down, but it will eventually. Try hitting the store and looking for some odor neutralizer. There make some chemicals that will counteract the alcohol.

Cover it with an enormous pile of baking soda...or cut out that piece of carpet if your carpet isn't nice. Cover the area with a big bowl or barrel depending on the size of the spill and tape the edges. Burn it up before the alcohol evaporates.
