What if there is no modern liberalism?

Bill Clinton was a third-way/progressive populist. but unlike Jackson (or even LBJ), he did not think independently enough to minimize risk for actually different change. bush ran as a moderate in y2k and then he was scared for his security once he saw the damage he had overlooked (and to which his predecessor had willfully contributed) until the night of 9/11/01.

If you have noticed, the influence of central power moderates which means that self-described moderates simply advocate that order regardless of whether they can live happily free.

Conservatism is pro-order. moderation is a certain type of order pro tempore.

FDR was a conservative who sometimes liked to consider himself moderate or to call himself a liberal; he could never realize that he was like an inverted fascist like his buddy Thomas Wilson had been a proto-fascist and a nationalist on a global scale. Like Bush, FDR abused his power possibly even against what Hamilton envisioned.

One thing about the Constitution that never totally sucked is that it did protect private property rights. but then that traditionalism of private property rights was rooted in tyranny and elitism.

the smart power seekers and those who know how to use centralization to their advantage are never happy for long (too much power is never enough).

the security seekers are seldom happy.

some who wish to be free don't understand how free they could be without taxes.

then the very smartest and most creative minds like those from Jefferson and Rothbard are the truest libertarians both when dealing with others and in their philosophy; those minds try to educate but then they lose track of what is happening around them because the Statists/Authoritarians are always shutting their ideas down.

The Statists shut down new ideas, inductive reasoning, and basically the creator of the universe. Statists do that because authoritarians want easy money, to control others, and security for themselves.

centralization of power in one person or one person elected to let bureaucrats run wild forces compromise that few people are satisfied with, doesn't it?

can my soul not depart my body forever? why is no one allowed to help me permanently get out of suffering? will the State torture the individuals who free my soul from this universe forever and who free the world of my physical presence? are there plans for me to be enslaved to a private owner, for me to be altered, for my body parts to be reformed, or for me to be a dictator?

I am sorry if I sound so OCD. I wish I could help it.

So many unproven assertions in that OP, not even worth the time refuting them one by one.

Modern liberalism lives in Canada. By comparison, all of the USA - even the democrats - are ultra conservative.

Your ideas should set you free, Anarchist. Embrace them and the fact that you have them. Ideas, and thoughts are what give us all our individuality, spirit, and life.

What you may want to pursue, is putting them in action, ie. politics. We are lucky enough to live in the United States, and you and I can get into politics.

Join a political cause that speaks to you. (In person, rather than posting on the internet.)

It's like exercise... in body and mind.

Thanks John. I may or may not write a blog, but I won't get involved with any political causes in person; that could lead to be me becoming part of the ruling class or a ruler or something. Power corrupts, and I don't want it to corrupt me and I am never going to accept the fact that I don't have an independent mind (therefore, i have no money of my own and joining a political cause will show my inherent lack of independence worse than if i were to take SSI for myself). I am trying to get my dad to invest in case I live longer. I don't want my mom's even worsening executive function to interfere because she tries to impose what she believes on everyone else like i do. I signed off on additional social security for my parents, because i am too dumb for no one to lose from me leaving my mom who kept bugging me about it. I am the village idiot.

My mom's youngest brother may have contributed to my dad being out of work (made up lies about medicare fraud) as well as my dad being a recovering alcoholic. I shouldn't have even posted that because my mom's youngest brother can make life hell for people like me who aren't smart enough to get away. There is no point in jailing him or anyone else. without different people around, he and i would be long gone.

And I don't want to enjoy life because if i enjoy it too much, then it will come at the expense of others. my mom is like Stalin's mom; I am like Stalin and I fear becoming dictator. Stalin got his start as a bureaucrat and I am not going to ever work because it would only be recycling waste. I come from a long matrilineage of very compulsive (i.e., not rational but very controlling) strong willed women. My grandmother was prone to violence and the only reason my mom isn't is because my dad always tries to please and sacrifice himself for others. My grandfather was an ESFP so he gave independently and had an ego so my grandmother was verbally and physically abusive, sometimes violent to him. my dad, otoh, is an INFJ and as such tries to give his whole self to one person at a time. My dad's irrational (but good) desire to please is who made me and my mom, maybe some of his patients. Without him, I am a pure dipshit.

Moderates/independents typically track with the party *not* in power. They aren't consistently conservative or liberal from what i've seen.

There are a lot of other outcomes for gifted people, Anarchist, including many outcomes of success. What I think is most important for you to understand, that you may not quite understand yet, is that only YOU control your destiny, your future, your life, your happiness, etc. Your family is just an input, into your decisions. Of course they are an important input, but just an input.

I feel that any of the strong woman, or men in your family would be the first to give you a hoorah when they see you doing what is best for yourself. That's what makes a person strong, is doing what's best for themselves.

Be confident, be bold. Attack life, unafraid, and make a path for yourself; for your success is the world's success.

Shhhhh don't let the left know they're actually to the right of center (conservatives) and afflicted with the dreaded CBD.

I've pretty much been a very conservative Democrat 40 years now or so now.

Has amused me the idiocy the last few decades of "OMG YOUR A DEMOCRAT, YOU"RE LIBERAL"

Is a bit amusing to me.
