Area 51 pic

The USAF did build a saucer shaped aircraft, but it couldn't get more than a few feet off the ground.

I love how all the vehicles, planes, people, buildings, and misc items in the original pic are blurry and fuzzy edges and stuff... then, the saucers in the center are SO crisp that they look like they have razor sharp edges and even have reflections of the buildings.

Someone's trying to photochop but is a total dumbass.

they did build some flying saucer things, not a big deal really... they used reaction control jet type things. they have built all kinds of crazy craft. many never flew or barely got off the ground.

I don't think this is a photoshop. I remember the army doing tests to see if there was a plausibility to the saucer-type shape of "UFOs". They had a small one and a larger one, and neither of them made it off the ground.

The Avrocar.

Yea, that sounds right. Bonus points for knowing WTF I was talking about.

thats the sharpest and darkest shadow I've ever seen

Didn't notice that. 🙂 The shadow under the wings of the planes look totally different than the saucer shadows. Good find.

Same company here in the Toronto area also built the CF-100 Canuck, Avro Arrow and the Avro Jetliner, the first jetliner to fly in North America.

Should of lowered the opacity on the shadow and added glaussian blur to not give it such a razor sharp edge.

it's a photoshop. It was posted a long long time ago, and there was a tutorial website on how the guy did it from the original picture.

its amazing how the same photo can fool so many and, yet still have so many who realize the truth. I guess its all based on experience. That aerocar thing is pretty interesting, though.

No what's really amazing is how these aeronerds can remember which photo a chop is made from just based on the plane's tail number and google it up.
