use is set to tab. I came accross a laptop at the very beginning iwth a red square around it (assuming I can use it). I hit tab while close and nothing. Can anyone help me out?

I think you are supposed to use that scanner item you have. You scan everything like laptops, papers and stuff. Try using that arm scanner thing.

Ahhh, THANK YOu.

And Rock Hydra. It's OK so far. The itnoro is all pre-rendered though. My initial gripe is that while framerates are good, the mouse is jerky and in precise. I'll have to see if I get used to it.
 
I played it for about 45 minute and got bored of it. Gameplay is repetitive, the enemies are dumb and the story is not very engaging.

Sounds just like Metroid. That got old very quickly.

Reviews from gamespot say its pretty boring and cliche, and my personal tastes mirror their ratings pretty closely. not sure about you though.
