it's fiction... and you're trying to make sense of it... .... .....COOL! Aren't they filled with ichor? or was that vampires? in either case, both don't have heartbeats right? so ichor could be used to sustain zombies. maybe that's the key?
 
While we're on the topic of zombies, have you ever seen an Asian zombie? I don't think I ever have. Are Asians immune to the Zombie virus?

zombies do not use blood. green goo substance keep them alive, i can't discuss the details though.

Zombies actually run off No. 2 fuel oil - diesel. The idea is to jack the price so high the IZO (International Zombie Organisation) will go belly up and the World would be a safer place.
