Are your temps different with the 158.xx driver?

For some reason my load temperatures are about 5-7C lower with the 158.22 driver for Windows XP.

Anyone else experience the same?? I find it hard to believe a driver update makes my card run cooler.

Mine is opposite. idle increased 5-6C more than 100.65 driver. Haven't tried playing game with it but I can safely assume that it will increase proportionally to the idle temp.
Got 1 system freeze with this new driver already. I'm going back to 100.65.
 
btw do these latest drivers totally fix the issues with vista and 8 series cards? more specifically 8800gts 320mb ?
