the only cultures that I'm afraid of are the anti-cultures, like those militia guys out in the midwest and religious fanatics (born-agains, amish, etc)

have you ever met any Amish? They're nice people who just want to be left alone. They don't bother anyone (well, except for when you're driving down the road and there's a buggy ahead going 5 mph...)

no, if anything I'm intrigued by alien cultures and civilizations.

Which ones, specifically?

The Ur-Quan and Shofixti? :p

No, for real cultures I like the South American civilizations (Inca, Olmec) simply because they had a HUGE empire that we know very little about, and a lot of the island cultures.

Growing up in four countries, I've developed a tolerance over other cultures' customs and such. Occassionally, I'll be freaked out over something someone does because of their culture/background; I don't hate or am afraid of other "people" though.
