Drill Sergeants are not considered maids. 😛

you live in a nursing home??

Nursing home? What the hell are you smoking? How about the #1 rated company to work for by Fortune Magazine for the past 5+ years (I think they slipped to #4 this past year, though ... out of the 100 ... not like it's that big of a deal).

You've never had a real employer until you've worked for them. 🙂 They take care of you, like an employer should. When you have real work to do, you shouldn't have to worry about all the common problems in life, you should be focused on your work.

Perhaps you might think about lowering your standards so you could be satified more often, therefore Happier and therefore more recepticle to skits of joking form.

Just an idea.....

Do you work at a psychology clinic or something? I think I'm doing just great, but thanks for your concern.

Got bored.... volunteered to work at the pizza place for a few hours during the busiest part of the day...
Otherwise, I'm off from school (teaching) for a week or so.

No I don't, but many people say that I should belong in one

With an attitude like that, I'm guessing the "Maid" is the closest thing to a relationship you have right now...just a guess. I could be wrong or just jealous 🙂

My girlfriend and I have been together for almost a year, and it's going great. I just have a rough attitude towards life and I feel like in order to get somewhere you can't just sit around and let people push you around -- so I don't take jokes aimed at me lightly, almost ever, unless if it means something important to me is on the line. I probably came off that way. With friends/family/relationships, I'm not that way at all. It's just adjusting to and from a business atmosphere.

How long does it normally take to 'change' between work and home???

Only asking, so we can have a fair warning what to expect at different times of the day

Normally never, unless if I bump into people like you.

It's nice to see that your apology wasn't sincere
