That comment kinda hit home for me. I hate to admit this, but since I work with a large population of med students and pharmacy students, I find myself wondering how smart I am relative to them. It is usually followed by some thought about how I really need to work on self esteem and that I shouldn't care how smart they are. As for better looking people, they're occasionally nice to look at, but who cares if they're dumb as dirt (probably not the nicest thing, but oh well).

The calm lifestyle is a definate plus though.

visgf: I am the same way. I am very self conscious about my intelligence, and I often wonder the same things. Then I try to remind myself of everything I have accomplished. But as for looks, I agree. I would rather talk to a normal looking person that has something to say than have to deal with a box of rocks that looks good.

I work nights so I usually get on when it gets slow, but on my occasional night off I try to spend at least a little time with vi and I don't get a chance to get on.
