Same here. They're both scumbags.

Yup. My town is trying to pass 6 or 7 new or extended sales taxes. Bastards get enough of my money, so I'm voting NO! :D

Nope. Moved out here a few months ago, but still haven't changed my driver's license (a pre-req for residency, or something like that).

I'm registered to vote here in Texas already but I haven't watched TV or read a newspaper in months. I didn't even know there were elections being held tomorrow.

Man, you guys should see what it's like in CA right now. All the unions that basically run things are paniced like rabbitts on sixteen cups of capuccino about the propositions Arnold is trying to pass and are spending probably hundreds of milions on TV ads since a couple run almost every commercial break.

All I know is, if special interests have that much to lose then I'm all for it.

But they won't pass. People in CA are saps. You show a teacher on a commercial going "Arnold hates your children and hates us teachers" and most of the people here will believe it unquestioningly.

Yes, I'm voting tomorrow.
I'll walk into the voting booth, pull the lever to close the curtain. Pull the lever to open the curtain, then leave.

I haven't got a clue who the people are who are running for local offices. I've found minimal information on them. I refuse to do what the majority of the population does: vote for the person with the best hair, easiest to spell name, or most campaign posters in lawns.

I would if I lived in NYC or New Jersey, as they're both having major elections for their mayor (NYC) or governor (New Jersey) right now. Since it's an off-year election, though, there aren't any big time canidates in CT to vote for this year.

We've got two school funding issues on our ballot. One for construction bonds, the other to raise taxes for operating expenses. The school board membersand District Superintendant are whoring for land speculators and developers, building schools where no one lives in order to help boost land values for the developers so the school bond won't get my vote. The tax increase for operating costs will get my vote because that one does contribute to the education of students.

Yup, voting for a new mayor. Well, not new, it's gonna be a landslide victory for the incumbent.
