I'm still a little conflicted... I love Corzine, but overall, democratic governors have been pretty terrible for New Jersey. I kinda feel like it's been downhill ever since Christine Todd Whitman left to join the Bush administration.

I live in NJ and am a strong democrat. I thought Whitman was not very good either. Corzine has just been brutal. We continue to have rising taxes of all sorts, but yet nothing is improving. He pretty much removed most of the property tax rebates, but yet the increase in sales taxes and bridge tolls was suppose to help with that. I also don't like how they are secretly putting through gay marriage legislation with no vote from the people. I have decided to vote for Christie and I can't stand the fvcking republicans. But its time for those of us who vote to start using our vote to hold people accountable. Corzine has been a terrible governor.

for what it's worth, it was actually the state supreme court that ruled that denying gay marriages/civil unions was unconstitutional.

I live in FL, but ACORN was kind enough to register me to vote in NJ. I plan on voting. Multiple times.

I'm voting in AZ. We have a local school bond issue on the ballot. The promoters keep talking up music/art/science and building repairs but when you read the measure it turns out 85% of the money will go to new sports facilities. So I'm going to vote no.

I hate the "Durr I am McDonnell and know what its like to be a small town Virginian, I have lots of cash the NRA gave me to run with" campaigns...so I'll vote Deeds just because I intensely dislike this guy.

Way to go dumbass. Here is the whole quote

We continue to have rising taxes of all sorts, but yet nothing is improving.

If they were actually using the tax increases for what they said they would, things would be better. Next time try reading with some comprehesion. Just like a slimy republican to quote half of the fact or truth.

Well the second part was just obvious - I didn't think it needed to be said again. After all, we're still talking about New Jersey, right?

BTW, I'm not a republican, but as usual, classy assumes things without basis. Maybe, as Moonbeam would say, it's self-hate, and classy is a closet republican. Given how upset the idea of gay marriage makes him, I'm sensing a lot of hate issues here.

I'm loving what DC is doing for this election cycle. The more fubared everything they touch becomes, the more the polls are shifting away from the mighty wave that followed the last presidential election.

I voted this morning :thumbsup;

the polls seemed pretty crowded for an off-year election (relatively speaking, of course... I live in a 0.8 sq/mile town).

voted for Christie... I love Corzine, but I couldn't bring myself to reward the NJ democratic party with another 4 years especially after the epically negative campaign the ran against Christie (the centerpiece of which seemed to be "don't vote for the fatty")

Will be voting in VA today for McDonnell. Deeds just ran a trainwreck of a campaign, where McDonnell presented his positions clearly and affirmatively.

No, deeds ran a pretty clear campaign. "I'm a democrat, and have you met this guy named barack. And ignore that this kaine guy ran the state to the ground and was appointed to the DNC chair: have I mentioned that barack guy".

just when I thought the NJ democratic party couldn't get worse... apparently they're paying for robo calls in Republican districts promoting the 3rd-party candidate Daggett to eat away at Christie's numbers.
