Wow am I behind the times. I thought the Blue Whale challenge was still the latest thing. Turns out there is a whole new wave of fun for the cool kids.

The Fire Challenge!
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...ely-burned-fire-challenge-youtube/1051848002/

Douse yourself with rubbing alcohol and light yourself on fire. Surprisingly some people are being sent to the hospital while doing this.

There is also the Hot water Challenge!
http://www.foxnews.com/health/2018/...dly-leaves-teen-with-second-degree-burns.html

Seems simple enough. Take a pot of hot water off the stove and splash yourself, or your friend! Amazingly this too is sending some to the hospital.

My take on this is that the computer networks have gone sentient and they are using social media to drive humans to the brink of suicide/insanity. Your entire social media feed is controlled by a sinister computer A.I. intend on overloading your neural processing ability.

Take a look at the P&N section. Do you think those people are real? The only logical explanation is a custom designed false reality designed to drive the humans insane. Every member is getting targeted with a custom reality aimed at their mental weakness.

Colossus has arrived.

I think the next thing should be to try to do multiple of these challenges at the same time.

Eat a Tide Pod while dancing in the street while on fire.

No idea. A little propofol with the last colonoscopy and it could have been the whole damn hospital. But I wasn't sore or anything....what does that say?

Ahh, so you aren't sure about your total number. I guess all of your activities before that prepared you for the hospital gangbang.

I do agree that propofol is some damn good shit.

Why can't kids just go to the supermarket and inhale cans of whipped cream like they used to?

They're not using enough alcohol and/or the water isn't hot enough. Please pass that along to the participants, the secret is volume. You can't use too much alcohol or have the water too hot. The more you commit to the game the better it goes.

I would agree to this, but, I must wonder if perhaps you are a computer trying to eliminate humans?

Whether I'm a computer trying to eliminate humans or just a human trying to eliminate stupid humans, the objective is the same.

DETROIT (WJBK) - A 12-year-old girl from Detroit is in the hospital recovering from severe burns after taking part in a disturbing trend called the Fire Challenge.

"I can't help my baby. I can't help her," said Brandi Owens.

Brandi is trying to be strong, but can't bear seeing her daughter bandaged from head-to-toe and in intensive care with burns over 49 percent of her body. Timiyah Landers and her two girlfriends were hanging out at her Detroit home on Friday after mother Brandi made them pancakes and went to take a nap. Minutes later, Brandi said she heard a small explosion.

"She came running up my hallway on fire from her knees to her hair," she said.

Timiyah was on fire. Brandi's fiance quickly put her in the bathtub and sprayed her down with water. Brandi rushed Timiyah to the hospital as the other girls admitted, they were taking the fire challenge -- something one of the girls had seen on YouTube where you douse yourself with rubbing alcohol and set yourself on fire.

"These kids are trying these YouTube challenges," she said, "that's where they get this challenges is YouTube, and they're trying it with their friends."

Some are even dying. Others like Maya will be hospitalized for months to come and scarred forever. Brandi wants YouTube to ban these videos and she wants to warn other parents.

"Monitor these kids, especially with these phones, and if I could after with this happening - my kids would never be able to be on social media. No more iPhones. Nothing," she said.

Instead of starting seventh grade in a couple of weeks, Brandi says Timiyah is on a ventilator and will be in the hospital for several months.

Sorry, but I have no pity for these kids. When I was that age, I was most definitely not stupid enough to think that dousing myself in alcohol and lighting myself on fire was any kind of a good idea.

Also, is this what social media has come to? I don't partake much at all and have no kids but seriously? I can't even wrap my head around shit like this, the Tide pod challenge or whatever else these people are doing.

Are YouTube challenge videos a type of modern day population control? If so, maybe they should add a "catch a bullet with your teeth" challenge as well :)
