I missed one answer because I didn't listen and acidentally hit the button.

After playing piano up through high school, I'll be damned if I couldn't id higher or lower, although specific intervals require a lot of work for me.

Did you miss in the first group?

My wife and I both got 35/36 and both missed in the first set.

I used to think I was tone death until I really started listening to piano music, and I realized not only could I tell the different tones but I could even tell when a key was out of tone. Years of playing the Tuba didn't really do that for me.

Seems to be one in the Stage A that is messing with a lot of us. I wonder if it is the same one,

36/36 here, thought it was pretty easy. I played the baritone for a while in the past and I mess around with guitars so that prolly helps.

36/36 ... kept trying to listen for a few Hz difference in the first and last parts, like when tuning a guitar string to match the next. Turns out it isn’t trying to be tricky at all.

Result: Not tone deaf!
Stage A: 12/12
Stage B: 12/12
Stage C: 12/12
Final score: 36/36 = 100%

No surprise here, especially spending as much time tuning twelve string guitars and mandolins as I have...

oh man, i have always wanted to be able to play a 12 string guitar

but my fingers hurt even trying to play a 6 string

IMO, it's not so much an increase in fingertip pressure of holding the courses of strings down, but more the actual hand strength. I mostly feel it in the meaty bit of the hand below the thumb after playing one for a while (especially if I've been doing barre chords...)

I'm completely musically retarded and got a 100% so I don't think it is really relevant outside of how good you are at clicking the correct letter.

That's just like, your opinion, man.

They did all seem exceedingly obvious, though. I remember taking a similar (but longer) one a couple years ago that gave me more trouble than this one.

That means you are tone deaf.

Figures ....

EDIT: Works fine in Edge (Chrome based)

Perfect score = not tone-deaf! :)

(a little surprised I did so well ... I have a measurable hearing loss I assume from all the loud concerts over the years... FWIW I can still hear those "teen-only" sounds too and I'm 57)
