Hell no...it's their job and they get paid for it plus, around here at least, they get paid for their mileage or have a car provided by work. If they ask for a tip from me I usually tell them to get an education and find a better job.

Maybe your tip was unusually small or large? I average around $2/delivery, I think that's about the norm, or maybe it's on the low side now even.

Its customary to tip, but I feel that being a poor college kid, I'm exempt from it every now and then when cash is tight

HAHA, I would never eat pizza @ shinerburke's place. When you make minimum wage, you have nothing to lose. Spit, stink-palm, whatever...the pizza guys are probably fighting each other to deliver to your place and taking bets on the most outlandish thing they can do to your pizza without you noticing!

It varies. My fave is a place here named Hideaway Pizza(sadly they don't deliver). I also get Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Mazzio's, etc...

$2 tip on a $12 pizza is pretty good, if I were the delivery guy I would have gladly accepted.

I always tip 20% on everything (haircut, pizza delivery, restaurant, and etc..

Do you carry a calculator with you at all times?

Remember that I live in Tulsa :). Hideway is AWESOME! But yes they don't deliver. Papa Johns is my favorite "Fast-food" pizza, and no they do not pay for their cars.

Ever been to the original in Stillwater? Nothing can touch it...well...there is a place over in Sand Springs named Minuteman Pizza and it's damn good as well.

You sure Papa John's doesn't supply a car? Every time I order from them the pizza is delivered by someone driving a red Checy S-10 pickup. I've had pizza delivered by different guys and girls from them but it's always the same red truck.

Can you provide me some help?

I usually tip 23.35%. Find the 23.35% of $14.32 in your head, smart boy.

When I bought my $30,000 vehicle, I tiped the salesperson 23.35% of the price. I guess that's fair.

What? Are you a total dumbass or something?

The orignal post wasn't about 23.35%, it was about 20%.
