are you supposed to tip the Dell in-home mechanic?

i have the complete care warranty service and they sent me an in home guy to work on my laptop. i want to know if its customary/necessary to tip him and if so, how much? thanks.

However, I've never worked on laptops and dell's csr required the part (speaker) to be dispatched to a mechanic in the area.

And the garbageman, don't forget him. But why stop there? I tip my doctor and optometrist as well. Wouldn't want them to feel underpaid, after all.

As a tech, I never knew that my customers should have been tipping me all this time!! I feel like I've been getting screwed for the past 10 years! grrr....

it seems the consensus is that tipping in this case is unnecessary. I should have expected so, I did pay for the complete care package anyhow-- and it was costly.
 
No way. You've paid for the warranty service, it's Dell's job to pay the man.

Off topic, but, we had a Dell guy come to our office to fix a laptop that HAD to be fixed by a Dell rep for warranty. He was wearing shorts, t-shirt, sandals and looked like he just got out of bed. Very professional.
