Are you scared of spiders?

I have a natural aversion to them. I wont scream when I see one, but I also wont bother them or purposely let one crawl on me.

I also have an exterminator come monthly to kill them inside, and outside my home. If I don't, I have spiders everywhere. It actually kinda freaky how spidery it gets around here if I don't keep them in check.

Weird that natural aversion thing is'nt it. I hate snakes, spiders, and roaches. But Lizards, rolly pollys, and crickets don't bother me.

EDIT: I've found alcohol in a spray bottle will kill them instantly if you're like me opposed to bug spray.

That's evolution for you. People who were not afraid of things that could kill them, didn't live long enough to breed.

Nope. I let them live in my place unless one drops from the ceiling in front of my face when I'm eatin cereal. Then, I scream like a girl and kill them. 😉

Most of the time I just take them outside though. 😛

No, as long as they aren't on me, they are my favorite crawly.

I hate roaches with a passion though. I woke up once and one was on my knee looking at me. Freaked me out. Roaches in Mississippi can get huge. :|

Hell Yeah, I scream like a girl from a 'B' movie.

I don't care though if they keep their distance, but if one randomly started walking on my bed...I'd freak

I'm not afraid of spiders..... I'm afraid of getting bit by spiders.... never was before until one decided to reside in my fishing shoes.... a large furry jumper spider... intense pain in my toe as it was being digested or whatever the bite does to it....
I couldn't care less about getting stung by a wasp or hornet... that doesn't bother me at all. To put in in perspective, I'd rather have been stung by 10 wasps than be bitten by that particular type of spider again.

Yeah, those huge ones that fly really rock. 😉

I remember when I was little, I went into my Grandma's room and turned on the light (ceilling fixture in the middle of the room with one of those pull-chains) and saw those damn things all over the place. I was like :Q and I turned off the light and ran away!
