well, im graduating about 2 years too late, but I think i'll do alright anyway. BS in comp info systems, looking for developer job.
will I be rich? no, but my wife and I will be doing just fine. we just rented a 3 story brownstone in the Soulard district of Stl, a step in the right direction I guess.
I only have 58K in stock bonds. but wife has 800+K in stock bonds funds plust other stuff I don't know about and she paid our condo $125K in one payment, is that rich I don't know. I don't have to work but I do. I think it's time to retire though.
Rich is a subjective term. I don't think I'm rich, but somebody who's struggling to get food on the table every day might think I am just cause I can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
brownstones are just what the name says they are , buildings made of brown stones usualy two or three stories tall at least 70 to 80 years old. there are alot of them in chicago and new york. your from chicago right? just drive around lincoln park or bronzeville you'll see alot of them.
I have some relatives who are quite well off, but I'm a college student wondering if I'll be able to pay for college next year! Hopefully in the future I can be a bit more comfortable
