We are one day away from the start of the 2001 NFL season and I can't wait. This season should be interesting. We will have replacement referees. Who do you think will be the powerhouse this season? Who will suck? Here are some of my predictions:

Division winners:

AFC EAST: Indianapolis
AFC CENTRAL: Tennessee
AFC WEST: Denver

NFC EAST: Philadelphia
NFC CENTRAL: Tampa Bay
NFC WEST: New Orleans

Superbowl: Tennessee vs New Orleans

Team that will be the surprise of the season: Seattle
Team that will fall from grace: Baltimore

Although I am a Saints fan, I do think they have a GREAT shot to make it to the bowl. When they do make it, they will be the first team to have homefield advantage at a Superbowl.

AFC EAST: Miami
AFC CENTRAL: Tennessee
AFC WEST: Oakland

NFC EAST: NY Giants
NFC CENTRAL: Minnesota
NFC WEST: New Orleans

Tampa Bay and Philadelphia are overrated, meanwhile the Giants are underrated.
AFC East could also be won by Indy, Jets would need a lot of luck and good play.
Denver could win the AFC West instead of Oakland, both teams are good.

Predictions:

Pittsburgh will be ahead of Baltimore in the standings and Green Bay ahead of Tampa Bay.

I can not wait for some football! I am lucky this weekend, I get to watch 4 great games. Indy-Jets, Philly-Rams, Miami-Titans, Denver-Giants.

I guess. I'm not all that enthusiastic about a bunch of guys running around in tight pants. Now girls in tight pants.........

The superbowl is cool though, always watch that. Good to bet on anyway.

Division winners:

AFC EAST: Indianapolis (Have the 2nd most Regular Season wins the last 2 years)
AFC CENTRAL: Tennessee (Have the most Regular Season wins the last 2 years)
AFC WEST: Denver (They could be the best team in football)

NFC EAST: Washington (Cant go against the home town team)
NFC CENTRAL: Tampa Bay (This could finally be Sapps year)
NFC WEST: St. Louis (In a close one with N.O.)

Superbowl: Tampa Bay vs. Denver

Team that will be the surprise of the season: Detriot (they have a cake schedule besides the NFC Central)
Team that will fall from grace: Giants (they have that tough 1st place schedule)

I am big time Redskins fan, but I must admit that for them to get into the play-offs with there lack of depth is a long shot, they are 1 big injury from destruction. The only thing that gives me hope is that the NY Giants made it to the Superbowl last year (one of the top 3 worst teams to ever get to the SB IMHO) so i think the NFC is up for grabs.

You have that so backwards

Kerry Collins is a moron and this season will prove it. The Giants have a great front four, but the rest of the defense blows.

The Eagles defense has no obvious flaws to exploit. Their receivers are a question mark, but if they step up, they'll go to the Super Bowl.

9ers!! 9ers!! 9ers!! 9ers!! 9ers!! 9ers!!

afc east: indy (easily the best team in the division)
afc central: tennessee (although i think they're totally overrated)
afc west: denver (could be oakland, but i think denver will edge them out)

nfc east: phil (duce is back, and thrash at #1 wr.. and of course mcnabb)
nfc central: minn (culpepper and moss are unstoppable)
nfc west: 49ers!! (haha.. yah right.. but i gotta support my team.. )

These are the facts on this years NFL season

AFC West - Oakland Wild Card - Denver
AFC Central - Tennessee Wild Card - Baltimore
AFC East - Indianapolis Wild Card - Miami

NFC West - St Louis Wild Card - New Orleans
NFC Central - Minnesota Wild Card - Tampa Bay
NFC East - Philadelphia Wild Card - New York Giants

Sleepers - Green Bay & Kansas City and San Diego will be much improved

Super Bowl Tennessee vs. St. Louis Rematch of 2 yrs ago (Barring injury to Kurt Warner)

All this coming from a dedicated saints and viking fan who has to pick the winners with his head and not with his heart
