Are you ready for some football? NFL 2013-14 schedule is out

packers have a lot of tough road games

I wanted to go to the Packer-Bears game in Chicago with relatives and was waiting for the schedule release to see what day it was on. Dec 29 might be tough due to the holidays and weather to get everyone to go.

Don't they plan these schedules years in advanced or is that just NCAA?

That's a great opener. Already picking the Broncos 4 months in advance 🙂

Really hope I can get Redzone for free again this year some how... I'll have to do some haggling with a directv CSR. <3 Redzone. Last season was fantastic with the 4 absurdly good rookie players (I'm throwing Kaepernick in there, he was basically a rookie), and Peyton and AP's amazing comebacks. Will be hard to beat last season.

Saints at Jets, Nov. 3rd. Will be there, who dat!

Edit: Also (based on last years results), the Saints have the 3rd toughest schedule in the league.

Denver has the easiest. #conspiracy

Only 7 Vikings Dome games this year. Taking some Panther's buddies to the Carolina game. Giving the bears tickets to our daycare lady. Go see the Packers. Sell the rest.

Well it helps that they are one of the best NFL teams in the worst NFL conference. They had an easy schedule last year as well.

Speaking of conferences, sucks to be the Rams! They were vastly improved last year under Jeff Fischer but they are stuck in a division with the 49ers and Seahawks.

If only we had an offseason nfl thread to discuss this type of stuff.

If only it didn't matter and anyone could just make a thread about anything they wanted at anytime they wanted to make one.

Oh, wait...

This whole schedule release event is so stupid. Just release it when it's done. I checked what the Bears schedule was online like two hours after the "event".

I'm not watching football anymore after the NFL rigged the superbawl to let stabby mcmurder win a ring before he retires. So fucking messed up. Fuck you Roger, you piece of shit. TPAD & DIAF. /RAGE

I'm more upset about Joe Flacco winning a ring than Ray Lewis. He's such a douche.

Other than 2 games out of 16, the who is planned years in advance. The only things that are not known are the when/where. Hell, once the regular season wraps even the last 2 "who" games are etched in stone. The only thing the schedule release is good for is counting who gets the most appearances on Sunday and Monday night and which team will get the critical late season home game in key division matchups.

Heh, we've covered this in other threads before but the schedules are generally set in advance with some room for flex. Each year you have your divisional games, and then each division will play an entire other division. This year for Denver it just happens to be NFC East (Dallas, Wash, NYG, Phil). The other games can be tough: NE, Indy, Bal, Hou. The less tough ones might be Jac and Ten.

Anyway, yeah fairly easy schedule but that mainly comes from the games that can't be avoided and have been planned for a while. They made the rest of the games include the top AFC teams of last year basically.

It is not entirely their fault that their division is arguably the worst in the NFL right now.
