Are you paranoid when someone else uses your digital camera?

however, they usually don't understand how to use the auto-focus feature on my canon a20. i tell them "push the button halfway down and wait for the little green light then push it the rest of the way down to take the picture". this results in blurry pictures usually.

yea then people will look through the viewfinder instead of the LCD screen and the pics wont come out centered

Like my wife. Even tho her APS camera is the same way....

Yes I get paranoid a bit when others use my camera. I always make sure they use the neck strap Even then I still get paranoid.. hehe

You get paranoid when you first get your camera. After few dinks here and there, you won't care as much.

I think it all depends on the camera and the person. My sister's bf has a canon s400? small black 5mp? around $5-600? and he lets his 3 year old nephew use it.

On the other hand I have a canon 10d and that thing is expensive and heavy...Plus the cost of the lens is worth more than most digital cameras alone... hence the paranoia when others use mine

Nope...I love when other people use my camera. I'm usually too busy/lazy to take pictures..so it's nice when other people do.

In fact, yesterday, my friend was playing w/ my camera and started taking random pictures of me driving and of himself making weird faces..and random buildings on the road. Hehe...
