Just started started on my overclock. q6700 @ 400x8=3.2 and working on bring voltages back down and therefore temps. I might go higher for later.

how much oc can a phenom 9500 get with their stock voltage? I mean in theory... and... can a third party air cooler take the heat load in enviroment temp of the tropics???

Want to know what other think about it... before testing... (dont want to screw up the computer)

E8400 @ 4Ghz (445x9) w/Vcore in the 1.3125 neighborhood, can't remember if I bumped it up one more notch or not after playing with GTL's
Been running it like this since late January/Early Feb when I got it.

I have my gaming computer overlocked (Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 @ 3.4GHz 1.5v ) but the rig in my sig is my main one that I use for web development, work, surfing, etc and I like to keep it completely stable and low powered.

I always overclock. And I really only build and use 1 PC at a time.

Current PC in sig = 60% OC

Retired PC was an XP-M 2400+ @ 2.23ghz so ~ 24% OC there.

E4300 @ 3.1 GHz - all voltages stock, so I don´t see a problem with daily use. Has been running without any problems for 1 year now.

My current main rig which is an 939 X2 3800+ runs at 10x241 (the memory is holding the system back).

I'm currently waiting to build my next machine based on the e8400 which should be done by the end of the summer.

my e2140 is actually for my HTPC which I play to underclock instead of overclock but the board wouldn't let me either way (damn ECS!).

Oh well...

Tried overclocking and my x2 4000 will go to 2.87ghz for 770mhz oc. But I prefer running at stock undervolted to 1V from 1.25V
