Very sad that the kid got his arm bit off by the shark, but not much has been said about his uncle.

The man wrestled a 7 feet 200lb shark out of the water. How insane is that? lb for lb, a shark must be at least a few times stronger than a human. Heck, remember how difficult it is to pull a mere 20 lb fish out of water?

Anybody else here thinks he can yank a shark that big out of water?

I do think he shot it first. He DID shoot it at some point (to get the arm out), I don't understand why he wouldn't shoot it first.

a lot of people do things extrordinary when in bad situations... things like mother lifting up cars if it fell on their child... you have unbelievable strength when you really need it...

actually he wrestled it out of the water first and it was later shot by a conservation officer so that the arm could be retrieved. I have to say that boys uncle is a gutsy man. Sharks are mindless eating machines and extremely strong. To have managed to maintain a grip on that thing long enough to beach it is amazing. The boys uncle is a hero in my eyes.
