Give me your brutaly honest opinion of my first photo website:

Paint By Pixels

After talking about this for 2 months, I had to just DO IT. Get it Done........ (Say it just like Jerry Seinfeld)

Now this is definitely a BETA version. Just something to get this going. I have one gallery so far, but uploaded 200 more pics in a locked gallery. This is very basic and will be polished up significantly in the next few days. Thanks to everyone who gave me pointers, RossMAN and DeviousTrap especially.

Thanks for all the help. Let me know what you think of the pics!

You need more info about you on the main page. Most of the links go to SmugMug's pages so the visitor is easily taken away from your stuff, something you want to avoid.

I know....

I wanted to get something together real quick, hence its decided lack of uniqueness. By next weekend I want it to look like a pro site all the way. Have a Me, My Gear, What I Hate/Love sections..

Already, I'm running into the problem of EXIF data being stripped out of most of my pics. I always process Nikon RAW images and save as a TIF; stripping out the camera/shot info. Not sure if there is a way or utility than can 're-tag' the original RAW info back to the TIFF or JPEG photo.........Anyone?

Thanks everyone. And btw, I'm from Dorchester.

I really like 'yellow roof'.

I was probably least impressed with 'spring burn off'.

overall I though they were pretty good.

Naturally, I don't agree......... ;-)

But check out my Mass Pike pic. Also, anyone please leave comments and let me know what ya think...

Thanks..

I love photography, but i don't have the money to get too serious into it. It's a hobby i will get more serious in once i graduate 🙂

You have a few nice photos, just looked through them. Keep at it!

Looks really nice and sharp, I recently took a Basic Photography course in college, so I know some things about photography, expecially image critique and picture taking.
