Are you happy with Arma3 Alpha performance?

Just downloaded today and with a bit of tweaking (view distance mainly dropped it from autodetect 3800m to 2500 for ground work) ) it looks (I think) better than Crysis 3 and runs great-30-60fps without stutters. I'm slightly annoyed that I haven't needed to replace anything in my machine in over two years (better monitor would be nice). I'd say on my rig 8 out of 10.

You have dual 6990's and you are surprised you have not needed to upgrade?

Good to see the game is looking good. Arma2 looks so dated these days.

It is hard to contradict your expectations and opinion with a Alpha. But when the final launches, you should be near the top of the performance charts with 2 Halo (4-gpu's/dx11) from last generation. Even at 2560x. Not gpu comparable directly, but your system is stout.

I'd like to know how AMD8350's OC compare to 3930K's overclocked now and when final game releases and I suspect dual Titans will really do it justice with all that lovely memory.Inventory system a bit hard to fathom but overall it's much more intuitive than Arma2 and more polished with much higher graphical fidelity with similar performance hit, wanna know how much multi/hyperthreading affect fps and how much more than 4 cores are utilised.
