Are you guys using TAA?

There have been no threads on this feature for a long time, it seems like people have forgot this feature or something.
I keep it on all the time but it doesn't work since all the games I play average at 30-40FPS, I guess only the X800 users find it usefull.
What about you? Do you use it? Do you find it usefull?

I use it all the time. 2XAA becomes 4XAA w/ TAA enabled. Occasionally I'll bump it up to 8X, but really 4X is good enough for my eyes.

I tweak my card for every game so I get 60FPS. This feature was great in UT2004, and the Cat 3.10's gave me a further boost.

/still hanging in there with 2 year old tech

I don't see any reason to turn it off unless you don't want vsync. Personally, I like vsync so TAA tends to stay on.

TAA isn't going to slow your framerate down any more than regular AA; it simply reverts to regular AA when your framerate falls under the TAA threshold.

I suppose by "demanding", he meant keeping the game over 60 FPS, which is necessary to enable TAA.

You mean 4.10, right?

But you can enable TAA regards of what your in game framerate is, you'll just get regular AA when your framerate drops under 60fps.

Its good to use, I used it in most games when my card was alive, im sending it out and getting another hopefully soon. It needed to be RMA'ed. A dead x800xt PE isnt fun. I usually went with 2-4x with most games and 6x with UT2004

No, I don't like TAA. I was playing, either COD or RO and the The edges were flickering so I was like F this and turned it off.

Are you serious? You should enable Vsync when using TAA by the way.

I know I know, but it doesn't actually "WORK" unless you're over 60FPS, which requires a good video card in modern games (IE: Doom 3 and FarCry)

Hell no. Even when I had my Radeon I thought it was nothing more than a gimmick.

If you're running TAA vsync is enabled automatically. If fact TAA won't even run without vsync.
