I'm glad Halloween is on a weekend so I can have some fun and not worry about work the next morning.

I don't really do anything for Halloween, I usualy give free candy to kids from my door. It's funny how any other time of the year it would not end so well if you tried that. I'll be working night shift though so I'll have to end it early. I hope my house does not get egged or TPed. :p

Yup, all my eggs have been sitting in the sun for two weeks now. They'll be plenty ripe by the 31st.

How do you get ready for Halloween? When I was young it was basically: put out a pumpkin and send the kids out trick-or-treating. Now half the houses in the neighborhood have orange light strings and tombstone dioramas in the front yard. Screw that.

Being on a Saturday this year, I'll probably going out in Manhattan somewhere. Lots of pub crawls.

I sit on the front porch, drink whisky, and give out candy to the ~12 kids that come around.

Edit:
It's actually more like 70 kids that come, but when they hit the porch I say "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT!?". Only ~12 prove they're worthy by asking for candy :^D

I used to have birthday parties growing up, was a good time to have one, costumes, Halloween games, etc.

But I try to forget I have a birthday nowadays.

My step sisters is near Christmas, so she always scored extra stuff on the side or it didn't feel like a birthday :p

It's my dad's 64th birthday so we'll probably be going out for dinner. I will be buying candy though, for myself. All your Reeses are belonging to us.

I´m thinking about doing a Halloween display, but I don´t get that many kids in my area. I really like the Ghostly Apparitions display:

If anything though, I´ll probably go with the less-scary Singing Pumpkins since it´s mostly little kids who come by:

¨This is Halloween¨ is pretty good:

I have a tiny Android projector with a palm-sized Bluetooth speaker; the projector runs off USB power, so I can drive it off a USB battery bank after the internal battery runs out, and the Bluetooth speaker lasts a good five hours, so I wouldn´t have to run an extension cord outside. I could hide the whole setup in a bale of hay so it wouldn´t get ripped off easily.

Gotta learn to play the game dude. Everyone knows that November 1st (50% off Halloween candy!) is adult Halloween

I'll be doing about the same thing as I do every year...going out for dinner somewhere. We live in a senior citizens' community...no kids here...and no terrorists trick-or-treaters begging for candy.
