NFS4: A vote for Gore is a vote against America. Don't be a fool. Stay home and don't be part of the problem.

<< Oh yeah, gloating about how we "wiped that smirk" off Bush's face. Good trade. The destruction of our economy and way of life for your childish, petty personal problems. >>

In case you didn't notice I was joking. I always joke about G.W. on this forum as everyone knows, but I respect him as a candidate.

Atomicman,

Since you've already stated that you don't intend to vote, why are you still in this thread with others who care enough to do so?

The majority does NOT support Gore. Even the most slanted, biased polls don't have him at 50%, which is still a point short of a minority.

People who support Gore are either fools, ignorant or are looking for something from government.

The budget got balanced AFTER the GOP took back Congress in 1994. Before that, Clinton/Gore were projecting deficits of 200+billion/yr. until today. Clinton/Gore promised a tax cut and then Gore broke the tie and passed the largest tax INCREASE in history. He says that he's proud of that vote because he believes that raising taxes was what balanced the budget. Psycho.

He did not invent the Internet.

He did not provide the basis for Love Story.

He lied about drug costs this week.

He;s planted spies in the Bush campaign. (Can you say "Watergate")

He used to be pro-life, but now he's pro-abortion.

He used to be for the 2nd Ammendment, now he's a gun grabber.

He used to GROW tobacco, now he's a smoke-Nazi.

He broke countless fundraising laws and now says he'll clean up the system. He's been protected by Janet Reno. (Lesson: Get your cronies in charge of the legal system and then commit all the crimes you want.)

He let his wife attack the music industry and has done so again, but takes money from Hollywood and tells them privately that nothing will actually be done against them.

He is promising to steal from the producers and give to layabouts.

He tries to paint GOP folk as racists, but won't allow more than one black Secret Service agent on his detail and has been described as "uncomfortable around minorities".

Any of this getting through that empty head of yours.

(BTW: UT isn't better than Q3, you stupid fuck. They're both good.)

NSF4, if you are willing to do some research on both candidates and vote with your brains, I would never dream of telling you how to vote.
When some troll or completely uninformed person makes the statements that have been made in this thread then they get a "silly reply"

"I'm sorry judging by the looks Gore is less criminal than Bush"
Dept. of Justice Investigating Gore

Complete lack of knowledge about the electoral college.
"By the way the electoral collage looks at polls and than elects the new persident but sometimes doesn't go with the majority!"

It's late, I worked today, so I will leave it at that.

Just because I don't agree with you mean that I don't have any brains? Come on people. This is a free society and not everyone is going to agree with everything you say or your opinion on politics--that's a fact of life. You make it out to be that all people should be Republicans, and if they're not they don't have brains enough to know that being a Democrat is stupid. What kind of sick, twisted way of thinking is that? It just doesn't work that way. It all comes down to policy, and I agree with Gore more than I do with Bush. He does more for ME and MY family than Bush. Bush my be the candidate for YOU so that's fine, but don't belittle me b/c I don't agree with YOU.

NFS4, where the hell did I tell you how to vote?

All I said was if you are an informed voter great, vote for the candidate of your choice. If you want higher taxes, more government, a socialist way of life, that is your choice.

My original comment was addresed to Atomicman who was either trolling or completly uninformed, neither of which I have yet accused you of.

Atomicman: The electoral college can end up electing a president that did not win a majority of votes in this situation:

X wins by a HUGE majority in california, texas and new york.
y wins by a slight margin in the other states

Since the electoral votes are cast by state, Y will win the election, but x could have the popular vote.

...and i thought Evan(ltk) was stoopid! :|

I'm sorry to accuse you, I must have read too much into your comment. It came across to me as if I had enough brains, I'd be voting for Bush...that's what struck a nerve with me ;)
