IE7 will be deployed through automatic updates and will require the download of a "blocker tool" to prevent it's install.

GUI is HORRIBLE!

Most people on BetaNews.com and other sites HATE the new GUI, which is almost impossible to customize. I cannot stand the new toolbars and want to be able to remove the search feature and also move buttons around

fuk u, microsoft

I tried going to www.ie7.com, to download it, but some huge fox logo sent me to a download called Firefox.

It seems to load pages fast, I don't have any popups and it has all kinds of modifications called Extensions.

I guess I will just use it.

Considereing that Secunia has already found the first bug in IE7 within 24 hours of it's official release...... No thanks, I'll stick with Firefox

Switching from Firefox to IE7 is not an upgrade. Thus, it is impossible for me to "upgrade to IE7" as any switch to IE7 would be a downgrade.

I am not going to downgrade to IE7.

I doubt I'll use it. I was on Firefox since .8 or .9 or whatever, and I've been using Opera now for about a month (I might go back to Firefox for 2.0). I only use IE at work for a few web based applications we use that don't support Firefox or Opera.

I got it last night. I haven't had any issues with it and after a half-day worth of use I prefer it over firefox. It seems faster than firefox and I really enjoy the quick tabs feature. I'll probably use firefox for a little while longer while they fix any major bugs in IE7, then I'll switch to IE7. It's going to be weird using IE for my browser again; it's been so many years since I have.

Yeah, I'm with the crowd, it'll take Firefox falling behind as far as navigator 4 did before I give it up. Besides, FF 2.0 has build in spell check FTW!

I've used it on 4 different systems. It's had major issues on 2 of them (crashing contrantly for no reason) and on the other 2 I've found so many things I can't do right like view webcams, use certain sites with Java and Shaockwave apps that I can't stand to use it. FF all the way.

I'm installing it now on my work desktop PC. I'll see what it has to offer and report any bugs/issues with it so a decision can be made whther to push it to the enterprise.

Hell no. Do you have any idea how many applications won't work on IE7 that work fine on firefox and IE6?

This is going to be a nightmare, as I already know that IE7 works with NONE of the software I support.

I love everything about Firefox. What would be my motivation to go back? My only complaint with Firefox is that - everyo once in a great, great while - it crashes. But session -> restore gets me right back to where I was.
