Looks like you don't know much about selling phones. I sell my iphones every year after buying the new version and make anywhere from $300 to $400 on them. This is not just with iphones. Whenever you sell a phone, it's unsubsidized so you make more since you're selling without a contract.

And yes, I'll be buying the new 4G once it's out, so I can make money from selling my 3GS that was just replaced this week by Apple and looks brand new.

Yea...I've sold more phones than I care to count after they weren't new to me anymore. It was kind of out of hand when I worked for ATT. I was getting a new phone (for free) nearly every month. Luckily this was before Ebay became completely troll infested and I made a decent income just off selling my "old" phones.

iphones are kind of like Jeeps....the damn things keep their value forever.

I've sold 3 1g iPhones on CL this year, 2 of them sold the first day the last took 2 days. I got $200/$200/$250. I could EASILY sell a 3GS for $330, probably within 4 hours on CL. iPhones really don't lose their value much at all and they sell super quick. I have a 1g right now which I will sell later this year for $200 no sweat.

I don't doubt this. I put mine up for sale for $250 with the intention of selling for $200. Got 4 hits the first day. Sold it to the first guy today for $200 cash. I didn't even haggle. He asked I would take $200 and I said yes, since that is what I intended on selling it for from the beginning. I probably could have said $225 and gotten away with it, but quite frankly the phone has been sitting in the box Apple shipped it to me in since I got it and I didn't care.
