for the rather competitive price of $499. It may be lacking in a dual-core processor, but hey, at least it won’t be identical to the upcoming flood of Honeycomb tablets.

Price seems a little steep for a single core CPU to me. An obviously, its not Honeycomb. But, Honeycomb needs some more spit and polish, whereas Gingerbread is a highly polished product.

So, who's going to be buying one?

No, it seems to have many of the flaws of the original Galaxy Tab and is overpriced compared to the Transformer, Playbook, and iPad that all have better hardware.

Was waiting to try it before the Transformer reviews came out. It's not really a good value buy at it's current price. Assuming the firmware fixes arrive soon, it will be hard to find a better value at Transformer's price point.

Smaller screen, slower internals, and an old OS for $100 more? No thank you.

No, I'm still waiting until HP comes out with their WebOS stuff to even think about buying a tablet.
