I was wanting to see what all the hubbub was about, so I tried a game someone sent me through Myspace. Then I figured out all the rigging that was going on. Granted, I didnt play with REAL money, but I did invest my time. And TIME is a valuable thing. I could have been posting here as opposed to hanging around Zynga!
The first day I joined I started playing this Texas Holdem game with $2000 in chips and within the first 30 mins zoomed up to $32,000. It seemed like almost every hand that was delt worked in my favor. And since Im usually an "all in" type and have been playing a simulation on candystand, this was easy. But I knew it was BS! This is what they call in the drug trade (similarly addictive vice), a "taste". From then on, it was going to cost you.
I eventually went broke about 30 mins later. The next thing you know they wanted me to PAYPAL them for more chips. Then I realized how they operated. They give you $1000 in free chips every day, but you have to wait. And from then on, you usually always lose. But hey, if I bought lucky chips I might start winning, right?
Gotta love capitalism, but man this was easy to see through.
