Are you:

1. Turning off lights when you leave a room.
2. Turning off appliances that don't need to be on
3. Using fluorescent light bulbs instead of regular ones.
4. Using a fan instead of the air conditioner.

It is very important for all of us to try to save a little energy. I don't think it's hard to use 10% less energy per person. In addition to helping the environment you'll save some money as well.

Just something to think about....

1.) not always, i hate coming home to a dark house
2.) Is there abig problem with people like leaving on blenders? ;) My computer should be turned off at night....but it stay on for my convenience.
3.)I don't like the light flourescents give off, nor the interference/hum.
4.) ROFL....now thats just funny man :) A fan will never ever compare to the air conditioner.

Seriously conservation is good, but I like to think I make differences in other ways like using a toaster oven instead of heating up the big one ;)

1-4)No.

Although, during the winter I do have a nice "space-heater"... it is a dual 366 @ 561 computer :) I always leave my computers on 24/7, for RC5.

Yes! I have been sitting in front of my computer and moving very little. I'm conserving ALOT of energy. ;)

I always turn off lights when I leave rooms. Always have. Just a habit I guess. I leave my computers on most of the time, tho...

Yes on all four. I even ran my tv signal to the video card so now I don't have the tv and the computer on at the same time.

Please disregard #4 if you live in Texas in the summer...
Seriously, it's not a luxury, A/C is a safety feature down here.
104 degree air being blown around is not going to help jack sh!t.

It's like asking people in alaska to use candles instead of a heater / furnace.

#1: I have to leave them off when I play CS since the glare :)
#2: Kinda, I don't watch my TV but I leave both my computers on. The other computers I don't know what my sisters do with them.
#3: Yea my dad upgraded all the lights 5yrs ago when we moved in.
#4: We are getting Central Air soon so I think fans are out of the question.

OK...
#1. Good point, it does help the environment.
#2. Save money? Electric and gasoline aren't a million dollars a watt/gallon like in calif.
