Yes. Biologist. 32.

I will probably add an MPH to my edumucation at some point so I can do something besides straight lab work, but this certainly beats the average suit/tie job. I particularly like the creative aspect of being a bio guy; each new set of results brings more questions to be answered so you're not often doing the same thing day after day.

Yes, I'm pretty happy with my life right now. I work as a Network Manager for a small Corporate Consulting firm. The people are great and the environment is fun, but sometimes it's a very high pressure job. It's rough knowing that for every hour a mail/SQL server is down, the company is losing thousands of dollars. I'm very underpayed at the moment... only making around $35k a year. In addition to working fulltime, I have been a fulltime student for the last 3 years too.... which combined didn't leave much time for anything else.

I'm in the middle of negotiating a salary for a new job (at a new company) that pays 60% more than my current job (in the neighborhood of $56,000 a year) and has less pressure, so I'm quite happy about that. $56k a year is pretty good for a 22 year old who doesn't have any debt or high monthly bills. 🙂

I'm current saving $1000 a month to buy a house in two years and will be increasing that to $1700 when I get the new job. I figure a $50k downpayment on a $100k house would make a good start. Get a 15 year mortgage on $50k at 5-6% and I'm looking at a monthly payment of around $421 a month. 😀 Keep in mind, I don't live in California or New York, so you can actually get a decent house for $100k, at least 1500sq, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, etc.

So yes, I'm quite happy with my life. 🙂

I am 39 years old. I am a network Admin and a 3d Programmer for a Cad/CAM/CNC firm. I am currently bouncing back from a divorce. I make a good living and don't have to pay any alimony for an added bonus 😀

I'm 25

I think for the most part I'm content. I'm going back to school to finish my Education degree. Then I'll be a Kindergarten teacher. Finances could be better, but things are looking up.
