Even links that I wouldn't find offensive are usually deleted very quickly.
 
I have not clicked a link without looking to see where it goes ever since I got sent the infamous "goatse" link on ICQ like 5 years ago or so.
 
I have to post in this thread because it keeps popping up at the beginning of the page. Everytime I glance at the title I misread it as "dick darling".
 
Also, it should be mentioned that if you are using an advanced browser (ie, not IE), there is a toolbar that you can turn on, that shows where a link goes, no hovering required. Of course maybe you can do this with Internet Explorer, I haven't used it in 3 years...
