Are you as anal as me?

I just realized I am anal about quotes on this board. For years, I've always made a habit of taking out the extra space after quotes, even when I'm quoting other quotes. With these fusetalk boards, it automatically inserts 2 spaces when you use the scripted prompt for quotes. When the board renders a post with a quote, it automatically enters spacing afterwards, plus an extra space that the scripted prompt inserts.

I guess I don't care for all the space, so I ALWAYS take out the spaces. If I'm quoting a post that has 3 other quotes in it, I take out all the extra spaces of those, too, like it matters or something.

So, being that I'll certainly be ridiculed for posting this, I figured I'd even throw in a poll for your viewing pleasure :p.

As anal as you? probably not, but I generally remove all the nested quote BS when I quote someone, rather than have a single post that takes up half a page...

I do the same. No big deal ;)

**EDIT**
You realize you are posting on a tech forum right?

You can't get much more anal than a tech forum.

Yup. And I'm careful about accuracy of nested quotes, either editing a post after making it, or else using the Preview feature first when I think of it. I'll sometimes start my comment on a quote immediately after the ] in the closing tag.

Yep. And I usually remove any layers > 2 in a nested quote if they are not relevant.
