In most states you can just put it on your drivers license.
Curious to see what percentage of people are donors.

I am and I'm not so sure about people who aren't. What's so important about your organs that you need them after you die?

I did it when you had to put a sticker on the back. My entire family are organ donors.

There are some religions that prohibit it.

I'm not one. Partly out of laziness and partly out of the small chance I'll get a utilitarian doctor that might do some greater good calculations if I'm in a car accident and barely holding on.

:shrug;
I have an irrational attachment to my organs. Get off my back!

Not gonna happen that way. All docs have their "eyes on the prize" of saving your life at all costs. You've been watching too much drama TV.

Nope. While I agree that I won't need them if I die, they won't take mine...so I get to keep them.

I'm not for or against it but I'd rather pass the decision to my next of kin. If I'm dead or dying, it doesn't make much of a difference to me but I also have to consider how it'll impact my family emotionally.

Your mother is going to look into your casket and be REALLY pissed at you that you're not being burried with your kidneys. Good thinkin.

You won't RIP without all your organs. If you're missing some pieces, you'll be wandering as a ghost for eternity. It's not cool to donate your organs when you die in the Asian culture.

nothing really except say someone really wealthy needs your organ(s).

Also some have to be taken pre-mortem.

It's a bit of power I don't want in another's hand.

yes. Why would I possibly condemn another person to death just because I want the worms to eat better?

There are some religions that prohibit it.

Then I pray that their religion prevents them from accepting one as well if needed.

You know, I wasn't even sure, so I took out my driver's license just now and realized that there is a checkbox and signature line that I didn't sign.
Thanks, OP :)
