I'm not - because I am not so sure what one is.

But, this is what I know of 'them' so far (make corrections/additions as needed):
- No one... and they mean NO ONE, pushes them around
- They have tons of sex
- They control women and make them do whatever they want
- They control people and make then do whatever they want
- They have children, only to ensure their superior genes get passed on and the proper woman raises them
- The proper woman:
* someone who lost their virginity to the Alpha
* someone who cooks, cleans and raises children (the Alpha's children of course)
* married and ready to serve the Alpha at the age of 16
* stays slim and fit, even after 10 kids
* waits on the Alpha hand and foot
* OK with the Alpha having sex with other women
* none of her friends a sluts, because the sluts would force her to become a slut as well
- They are built, since they lift
- They use acronyms like AWALT, STEM, SMV, etc
- Fedoras, fedoras, fedoras!
- They peacock (dress up in an eye catching manner - they are NOT fashionable homosexuals - they just know how to dress)
- Stance of dominance... EVERYTHING

I thought fedoras were the opposite of alpha, worn by passive aggressive beta hipsters.

A substantial number of women in stable marriages with beta husbands actually seek out alphas for impregnation.

So if you are not an alpha, and somehow think you have found a good woman and are raising a beautiful child together, I'd give it about a 70% chance that the child isn't yours.

Plenty of content out there where males stating they are Alphas wear fedoras. If they are, or aren't - I don't know/care.

Maybe a war will break out between the pseudo-Alphas and real Alphas. But, I suspect the real Alphas don't care or bother.

Alphas = douchbags

They get noticed, but get exhausting to be around really quick.

If I were the alpha male then I would just sit around all day doing nothing while my females would do all the work, get food and take care of all else including my kids that I produced my mating with them at will. So no, I am not an alpha male

Negative. I think being an alpha involves a certain amount of sociopathy that I don't have. Not that I wouldn't want to be one though. Being able to go for what you want in life with less regard for what that does to other people has got to feel pretty good most of the time.

I could do without all the posturing and machismo that seems to go along with it though. I get the feeling that by and large most alphas suffer strongly from the dunning-kruger effect. It works out pretty well for them too. Turns out that life is largely about what you think you're good at and what you're willing to brag about being good at rather than actually being competent. I always assume that I'm at best mediocre at whatever I'm doing. An alpha usually assumes they're the best ever at any given thing. They exude confidence whether it's warranted or not, and people are attracted to that. For instance, they all think they're excellent drivers, though I'd be willing to bet that they have a much higher accident rate and non-alphas due giving in to the urge to prove it constantly.

alphas are stupid
you wanna be an alpha? stop thinking and let your instincts tell you what to do and where to stick your dick.

have fun at your wedding, divorce, second wedding, second divorce, alcoholism intervention, bankruptcy hearing, and hospice.

ofc there's always the jail option.

I see this as joke post, but my brother in law openly claims he is an alpha. It's surprising how many of these actually do fit him. He isn't married but the things about spouse OP listed are all things he would actually require in a mate.

He once told me that anything less than $100,000/yr (CAD) is mediocre.

^ you should add hearting corn hole to the list, OP.

He is a Tough Guy, not an Alpha.

Also, no need for lists, I already have his pic, measurements and 'weapons'.
