Great Idea

Initial reports said the siren and light were on and that Stamp was wearing headphones.

They are not disallowed on any hill I know of, but wearing them is a very bad idea.

They have helmets with built-in speakers. So I reckon you can wear them, but you should also use common sense -- don't play your music too loud that you can't hear other noises, etc...

other than the fact you'll look like a DORK! Lol I can just picture some guy barreling down the mountain with a pair of huge cans on.

Wear earbuds and keep one of them off. That's what I usually do.

It's not really that dangerous depending on the conditions. I used to take a CD MP3 player and some earbuds with me when I weant. I would fire up some hard trance and bomb down the mountain...hehe.

I've seen a few snowboarders who pop-in the earbuds after they've strapped in their bindings -- and my sis has a Giro helmet with Tune-Ups, so I suppose for some, it helps having "theme music" while snowboarding :)

Quick question to those who have snowboard or skis.

Hey...I didn't say that was all I listened too...everyone is different. Also, I did say hard trance...not the airy vocal stuff when skiing...;)

Saw some people at the slopes on Thursday wearing headphones. So what? If its unsafe, should deaf people not be allowed to ski?
