Are you allowed to live in another state with a different states' driver's license/license plates/insurance?

I moved from massachusetts to connecticut and i changed everything (license/insurance, etc.) to connecticut's stuff.

I have a co-worker who still has his north carolina license and insurance because it's less than half what he would pay in connecticut.

Is this allowed?

you have a grace period. I recently moved to MA, and it is 30 days (though I did it for like 6 months). If you get pulled over you may get another ticket/fine, but i dont think they really care. I had an out of state license with my plates though. Now i'm all registered and all in MA.

Grace period. Afterwards you would be driving with an invalid license.

No, it's insurance fraud. If he has ANY issues the insurance company will drop him immediately.

Only if you are a student (there may be other special exeptions too). Otherwise there is a grace period (as already mentioned) - during which you are supposed to get the new state car registration/driving licence.
