Ive been awaiting the prescott for jesus 2 years and after i read the review i felt very pleased. Upgrade in L2 cache and 31 stages for intel to hit 5GHz+. Why do you all talk trash about the prescott? In most of the reviews i saw the 3.2C and 3.2E were evenly matched except when the spec scores came. All 3 of the SPECviewperf 7.1.1 tests the 3.2E was on top, even running with the 3.2/3.4EE chips.

Remember when the 1.5GHz P4s came out, and the 20stages everyone was freaked about, how a slower clocked T-bird (good old days 🙂 ) can take a 1.5GHz+ P4. Well now were talking another 11 stages extra, and for having that many stages and running onpar with the Cs, is very amazing. The 3.2GHz prescotts hit 4.2GHz (1200FSB) w/ a Scythe's Kamakaze cooler (like the alpha coolers) and 1.45v core (1.38v defult) thats damn overclockable. All we need now is some sick ass DDR-II 600Mhz PC4800 😀

Sorry had to get that out, please no flames 😀
