So if you work in an office as an accountant and use a computer everyday, you are not in the computer industry, you're in the financial industry. But if you work in the same office and your job is to maintain and fix those computers and/or maintain their network, you're in the computer industry, since the computers themselves are your primary focus.
What if I work in an office to support and maintain PLCs. Not what most people would define as a computer but they have to be programmed and maintained just like any other computer (they're just a little more robust).

I wouldn't know where to put that one so I guess I'd just lump it in with the porn industry.
