Are you afraid of domestic terrorism ?

I am getting really worried that my friends and family here in America are about to be put in GRAVE danger from terrorist who will strike when the war begins.

I am worried that Homeland security is not prepared to deal with this.

What do you think ?

Not really, whatever happens is going to happen
I'm actualy leaving for NYC tommorow evening, so I'm going to be in prime space for terrorist attacks which I'm definetly excited about

I fear for my loved ones, but its weird, its kind of like i see the breakdown of the system happening before my eyes, kind of like if you were falling face down off a cliff and saw the ground when you hit it head on.

You KNOW they will attack due to the actions we are taking, but there isn't much you can do about it.

No.

So you feel confident we wont have an increase in terrorist attacks once the war begins ?

I never said that. What ever is going to happen is going to happen. I don't live in fear of it. So i'm not afraid.

Exactly.
And if I were forced to choose a fear on this topic, then I would say that I am more afraid of how our government would react to domestic terrorism than the terrorism itself.

war always brings out the kooks and weirdos. I certainly do not plan any trips out of state nor do I plan to fly an airline

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Not really.

The threat of terrorism has made me face my fears and work harder to be at peace with my loved ones. It's given me the impetus to be more open, more loving, more willing to see their points of view. I'm a lot better at living in the moment, something which has always been really hard for me to do (I liked to dwell in the past or imagine the future better).

I care a lot less about BS than I used to, that's for sure...

That has a name now, the Domestic Security Enhancement Act (DSEA). 🙁
If passed and enforced, it would essentially mean the end of "freedom" in America as we knew it.
