Just to clear some things up in this entire thread:

1) If you're not afraid of the only fucking life you have ending, then seek help or try changing your situation. Better yet, off yourself or just stop acting like an interweb hardass, dumbass.

2) Addicts are weak people. You were fucking stupid to start a habit you knew good and well could lead to a lifelong addiction.

3) I'm awesome.

You really don't know what logic is.

depends on how death presents itself. by my estimation, i could have (legitimately) died probably about 4-5 times so far. by the graces of god (or the luck and happenstance of the universe) i am still here today. hasn't stopped me from doing the things i love (that are partly responsible for me almost dying)

I think OP needs to go out to the world and do some things before he decides when is or isnt afraid of.

No. It's going to happen at some point - no sense in living in fear of the inevitable.

there's a difference between CHOICE... and free will.

Drug Addicts always have Free Will.

They CHOOSE not to stop being addicts.

As he said... he HAD to take drugs one more time.

NO he didnt. He CHOSE to take illegal narcotics one more time.

i thought you were done?

Ask guyver about his world of warcraft addiction. He's too busy killing virtual monsters. What an ignorant asshole.

I'm not afraid of it right now, but who knows how I will feel if I get old and frail and sick? Complacent or something else .. hmm.

Maybe with 72 virgins. :awe:

Each time we sleep with a Houri we find her virgin. Besides, the penis of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [i.e. Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetizing vaginas.

holy crap

It's Death again – He's always there –
Watching; waiting – e'er the stare!
Every time I look behind
Or reach to pull the window blind,
I catch a glimpse of grubby hood –
A little clue to where he stood;
The glint of light that caught the scythe.
Perhaps if I could pay a tithe…
But O! no use, he'll never go.
The adamant phantom; don't you know,
He will but wait until it's time
For me to hear His fateful chime –?
The toll that's only meant for me,
To say: 'You're next, it has to be…'

I don't think I'm afraid of dying. I am afraid of pain(If I die I won't feel pain anymore, I assume). But I am mostly afraid of someone close to me, like a significant other, dying.
