I never thought I was, but just found out I'm afraid.
Finally found a girl and been dating for over a month... still 'not official', even though I'm not dating other girls and don't plan on dating other girls... :p

yes. I've been hurt before, and im scared of being hurt again. However, I am always willing to try.

not afraid of committing to the right girl, problem is once i've commit and getting hurt after.. nothing is worse

I never understood the commitment thing. I thought some people were more selective in who marry.

I never thought about it before!! A little late though...I've been married for 10 and a half years now!! LOL

Man, just follow your heart! You will know when it's right! Everything falls into place, and then 10 years, and two kids later, you'll wonder were it all went!! :)

I have to commit to $110 car payments for 3 years if I want this car. I'm afraid to commit.

Not to scared here. I've been "hurt" in the past but when you dwell on it you kinna realize that girl/guy is one of billions, and that even if things don't work out it's not the end of the road. If your scared your thinking about it to much, that girl/guy is becoming nothing more than a good friend, you treat them like family. If anyone expects more than that their expecting to much. People come and go though and once you get used to that I don't think being comfortable with someone from the very start is to hard.

Yes, I am very much afraid of commitment. I fall in love and like the thrill of it. But once the feeling is mutual, I am afraid of committing and withdraw. I try to find signs to convince me that this person is really right and has the qualities I ever wanted. I don't know . . . I like it that way for now. When I do feel ready, I won't hesitate to show my affection, profess it and grow closer to someone.

I have always been scared to commitment.... probably because I would be putting myself totally out there for that person.
