Are You Addicted to Bubble Tea?

I miss this stuff. Back when I worked in NYC, a deli a few blocks away served it. Since quitting that job in November, though, I've had nowhere to buy it. As much as I love bubble tea, it's not worth trecking into the city just to buy a cup.

Chinese iced tea, on the other hand, I'll cross mountains for 😛 fortunately, I recently discovered a Chinese restaurant a few blocks from my house that sells it.

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. We lack culture. We'll probably have a bubble tea shop in like 10 years from now, when the trend starts dying out everywhere else. For godssakes we just got our first hookah bar a few months ago! 😛

bubble tea/boba != culture.

most people that rant and rave about boba fall into one of two groups imho. either fobs or trendy asians. 🙂

ya I love it!
I only like the ones that are sweet, warm and chewy... Many places give you the exact opposite.. nasty shit.
Ya it's wayyy overpriced in US. Before it became a trend here, it used to sell at taiwan in small stands on the corner of the street for a few cents a cup.
