Are you able to call UPS and ask for info on a shipment?

I'm just wondering if I can call UPS and ask them for information on a package by telling them my address? So are they able to look up my address and see if a package is still coming or have been delivered already? If it was delivered, then god damn, a neighbor or someone walking by must of stole it when they left it on the front door, but lets hope thats not the issue.

I don't have the tracking number so thats out of the question. Has anyone ever done this?
