I'm young, live in an uban area, and I guess my job would count as something that makes me a professional (web developer for the US Gov't)...

Do I count?

Once you're married, you get to be a DINK.

(Double Income, No Kids) :D

Actually, it doesn't really disqualify you at all....how often have you heard the phrase "that yuppie couple..." ?

I guess my wife and I are technically Yuppies. We're fairly young, live in Atlanta, and are both professionals.....but we certainly don't fit any of the negative aspects of the yuppie mold.

Yuppies don't drive F150's....they drive Bimmers, remember? You're a redneck with money. :p

LOL :D

Thanks, made me feel a little better about myself :)

Only problem is, once the lease is up on the F-150 the wife's gettin' a Volvo...there goes the non-yuppie status.

Oh, right. Forgot about that. I can get Xplan papers, but I really don't want anything in the Ford family. :(

If you go by what the letters stand for, I guess I am a Young Urban Professional. I drive a bucket and live in a dive though. No Yup Frills here.

So, I guess this thread tells me that I'm a DINK.

Married, we both work. We won't be over $100,000 per year though for a while, unless I can get my wife to finish that master's degree!!!! :|
