Day 3:

The village votes in unison. Xed is to be lynched for the vile murder of their beloved Penguin. Xed shrugs off their ire and walks calmly to the gallows. Slowly and methodically, he places one foot after the other climbing the stairs to the platform. When he reaches the top he smiles and shouts out to the villagers,

"You fools! I am your Prince, and you may not lynch me. You idiots have given up your right to vote for this day. Go to your homes and think on your dumbassery this night. We will reconvene in the morning."

The villagers stumble back to their homes as commanded. No one dies this day.

*Night 3 Begins*

Night 2:

The moon rises and the crickets chirp. The wind blows calmly through the branches of the oak tree in the center of the village. The villagers sleep, the prostitutes prostitute, and the moon sets giving way to the sun. The night has passed calmly, and no one has died.

*Day 3 Begins*

Day 2:
He was always a misunderstood person. Long ago, his family abandoned him and he was left to fend for himself in the wild. From day-to-day he survived picking mushroom, trying to spear fish, and savoring rain water. That is until, one day, when he was attacked by a large pack of wolves.

They thrashed him, one by one, until the entire pack had had their piece of flesh. However, he didn't die and the left him to suffer. The next day he awoke, completely recovered and feeling stronger. The next night, however, the curse awoke and man became beast. This day-night cycle repeated for a millennium, with many humans falling beneath his claws.

This day was his reckoning day. He knew his sins. He knew the villagers knew his sins. He didn't mean to be a part of PenguinPower's death. He had grown to love Penguin like a brother, but the blood lust demanded a sacrifice. As the village called for his demise, A Casual Fitz, The
Alpha Wolf
goes to the gallows in complete peace, and with a smirk on his face. As Charmonium puts the noose around his neck, A Casual Fitz easily breaks free of his unrestraining restraints and cuts Charmonium in half. Charmonium, the
Knight
is also dead.

**Night 2 Begins**
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
Born with a gift, he vowed to use it only for good. That is, when he wasn't using it to extort money and favors out of unsuspecting prostitutes. This night was no different. Sitting in his usual spot in the brightly lit redlight district of PenguinPoweria - which is already a town of mostly prostitutes and pimps - waiting for his next unsuspecting whore, he catches a brief glimpse of movement coming the the right. He turns his head, but nothing is there. Thinking his eye were playing tricks on him, he returns to his search for his lady of the night.

Again, movement from the left. He quickly turns his head, but nothing is there. As his begins to refocus his search a lumbering, muscular, wolfish creature appears before him. Without words and without sound, a swift claw slash severs his head from his body and the creature bounds away. DixyCrat, the
Seer
, is dead.

Day 2 Begins...
________________________________________________________
He never quite fit in. Even as a child, he knew that there was something...off...about him. He never made friends easily, and those that tried to warm up to him were quickly scared away by his personality.

On this particular day, being new to the village, he knew this was it. It was time to accept his fate...to accept being different. Without a word, he went to the gallows. Not one to protest anything, he gladly accepted the fate doled out to him by the village. He was a villager first, and foremost. Mayne the
Cursed
is dead.

*Night 1 Begins*

Day 1:

What once was, will be again…

An all too familiar tale…drunken revelry fills the night air in the small, quaint village of PenguinPoweria. The village namesake, PenguinPower, is quite easily the drunkest, most revelriest of villagers, though ElFenix is giving him a run for his money. The night starts to turn into morning as the villagers dance, drink, laugh, and prostitute.

As the darkness fades, the villagers slowly, one-by-one, take notice the loud, obnoxious ramblings of their PenguinPower have ceased. JujuFish, the love of PenguinPower’s life, leads the village in a search for Penguin. This takes some time as walking has become a bit difficult for the inebriated villagers. Finally, amongst the grain bags at the mill, DixyCrat points to a body…or what’s left of a body. The villagers all scream in horror as they find mutilated body of PenguinPower, his head the only remaining part intact.

They all know this is the work of the werewolves…wolves that may be hiding among them in plain sight. The villagers stumble to the town square, angrily accusing one another of the crime. Today is the day they will make someone hang for the crime.

=== Rules ===
You are part of a town and vote to lynch someone. If you're a Wolf, you want to make sure you or your compatriots aren't lynched. If you are part of team "Other" you want to make sure you end up on the winning team.

At night Wolves choose a player to make into a snack. The village wins if there are no more wolves (or the Hunter is the last villager alive). The wolves win if they kill all of the villagers, or make it so they cannot win. Individuals on team "Other" win if they are on the winning team when the game ends.

1. Roles will be decided on after signups.

2. You need to play your role so that everyone else can play.

3. Be as active as you can. Inactivity leads to death and banning from the next game. 1 day/night cycle of inactivity leads to death and banning, unless discussed with me prior.

4. Don't "prove" a role by sharing your PM (etc.)

5. I will post when the day or night ends. If I can end it early I will.

6. Game starts at 8:30pm (Central time) Sunday, 12/6.

7. You may not directly quote any PM that I send you relating to this game.

8. Werewolves and Masons may have separate chat rooms that stay private. Be friendly.

9. Everyone's night-action goes off at the same time; though some might counter others.

10. Do not chat in the thread during night phase.

11. Do not chat in the thread at all if you have become a meal of any kind.

12. The exact role of any player that dies is revealed.

13. No PMs, except to me.

14. In the event of a tie, there will be no lynch.

You vote to lynch someone by typing their name in bold

===Roles===
Depends on population of village, some may be zero others multiple:

Pro Town

Normal Villager - No special powers. Definitely a prostitute.

Seer - Each night, he will have a vision of one other player (his choice). The
player's true nature (villager or werewolf) will be revealed to him.

Masons - Begin the game knowing each other's identities.*May recruit once per night. If they recruit a wolf one of them, chosen at random, dies.

Witness - Once per game, may witness a werewolf (chosen randomly) killing the night's victim. The werewolf will also see the witness.

Monk - Each night, he may meditate on one person who voted for the party lynched that day. That player's role will be revealed to him. If he wishes, he may send this information (anonymously) to all the other players in a vision by contacting God (me)

Governor - Once per game, he may pre-empt a normal lynching and decide to execute any player he chooses.

Prince - The first time this player is to be lynched, his role is revealed and the lynching is called off. This will count as a successful lynching and no one will be hung that night

Knight - Cannot be killed by a werewolf attack. If chosen as the target of a werewolf attack, the villagers will be told that no-one was killed that night.

Hunter - If he is the last villager alive, the villagers win. If he is lynched, he may kill any player before he dies.

Bodyguard- Each night, he may protect one other person. He may not protect the same person two nights in a row, and may not protect himself. If the protected person is attacked by werewolves, the villagers will be told that no-one was killed that night.

Werewolf Roles:

Cultist - A traitor who helps the werewolves, though they don't know who he is. While he counts as a villager, he wins if the werewolves win.

Common Werewolves - Your standard half-man, half-wolf creature of the night. They know each other's identities.

Alpha Wolf - Much like a regular werewolf, just bigger and hairier (with worse breath). If he is lynched, he may kill any player before he dies.

Team "Other" Roles:

Doppleganger - Starts teamless. Picks a player. When that player dies, the Doppleganger secretly becomes that player's role. The Doppleganger can jump multiple times.

Cursed - Starts on team villager. If he is chosen by the werewolves as a victim, he becomes another werewolf. The villagers will be told that no-one was killed that night.

Waiting until the 5th would be better for me...my grandfather ended up in the hospital on Thanksgiving and we're having to spend a lot of time trying to get things in order.

Maybe we can try to drum up some more participation.

Great! Welcome back. Where's ElFenix, Juju, Highland, and Cerpin Taxt? If we get them, we have enough for a pretty good game.

Edit: Hell, even ALIVE.

You should pm them. Get a big game going. Look through the archives and invite past participants.
