the 24 hours of daytona is awesome. not at all the oval racing you're probably thinking about. multiple classes of cars with wildly different horsepower makes for a very entertaining race

I don't watch anything starting with "Daytona" and the only reference I've ever heard to that is the 500. Thusly, I associate "Daytona" with mullets, Ole Miss Rebel, and buck-toothed trailer trash in Daisy Duke shorts.

Couple that with the fact that the I-500 snowmobile races have been going on (locally!) since this morning, and you've got the prescription for redneck-bashing fun.

Yeah, I thought Daytona 24 was "24 hours of Cletus and Billy Bob making circles." It's a logical conclusion for someone who doesn't watch auto racing outside of F1.
