Okay, this obviously isn't intended to be considered a 'hot deal' so much as it was just funny to me. NewEgg (the famous online retailer) has started to sell Henley/Polo shirts branded with the NewEgg logo for all the self-proclaimed 'nerds' to show off and wear 24/7. Check it out for yourself:

NewEgg Black "Polo" shirt

NOTICE: This is mad P!MP gear, not intended for the average customer. Only the slick fashion-aware customers are allowed. :D

I wouldnt mind wearing it. But sure as hell won't buy it. If they want free advertising, then they should give it away in orders over 100$ or $500 or something :)

Hey ringzero, I hear ya. They SHOULD give these shirts away for free with large orders so that they get free advertisement, and have customers say 'There's incentive to buy from these guys'

LOL @ the 'refurbished' comment. (Refurbished, OEM version, right? No tags included, partial embroidery chewed off by previous owner)

:) Peace

You think Newegg's thinking a little high on themselves now that they've got hundreds of repeat customers?

No, I honestly think that NewEgg just thinks that once you've got a solid hold on the PC buying public, you can move onto taking over the fashion world :p

<< A lot of ppl buy ads to wear. It's called name brands. >>

Agreed. Every time people put on a 'Tommy', 'Polo', or other 'designer' shirt, it's free advertising for the company, nothing more. Not saying these shirts don't use nice materials and what-not, however, without a fat branding, they might look that much better.

At any rate, HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE BOUGHT THIS SHIRT THUS FAR?

Peace

Random thought: would it not be the most disgusting thing ever if somebody were to wear one of these shirts for a weekend basketball game and then try to exercise the 30-day 'no questions asked' return policy?

At least the "Refurbished" shirt buyers will know what they're getting. :p
